This is a fairly new museum with its inaugaration as early as 2007. This museum was the outcome of hard work by University of Aguascalientes and also personal donations specifically by then governor Octavio Gil.It is only natural that Mexico should have such a museum since "El Dia de los Muertos" is a big holiday that is celebrated across the country where, families pay their respect to their former relatives.
